Peace Learning Center is a nonprofit organization based on the west side of Indianapolis, dedicated to fostering equity, restorative practices, and social-emotional learning (SEL). Through community programs and partnerships with schools, businesses, and organizations, we equip individuals with the skills needed to resolve conflicts peacefully, build stronger relationships, and create more inclusive communities.

Our programs focus on preventing violence through SEL initiatives and conflict resolution education. We offer in-class lessons, on-site experiences at our Eagle Creek Park facility, and workshops for educators, parents, and youth workers.

We also work with schools and the juvenile justice system to shift from punitive disciplinary methods—such as suspensions, expulsions, and incarceration—to restorative approaches. These include case management, wraparound services for youth and families, and restorative conferences that help repair harm and rebuild relationships in a constructive, meaningful way.
