Jewel finds great joy in teaching social work and human services courses. Her teaching experience and interests are grounded in anti-oppressive social work practice, diversity and social justice, issues and ethics in human services, small group theory and practice, social welfare policy and practice, basic generalist theory and skills, community and organizational leadership from a community-engaged and dialogic-pedagogical framework.
Jewel’s Wellness Center provides high quality, application-based, and intensive training, professional learning services, and professional development workshops and retreats required to meet the workforce development needs. Jewel’s Wellness Center provides quality training services, consultations, and project management services.
